Louise Jeffries (MSc, BSc Hons)

Welcome, I’m Louise and I qualified in 1995. Throughout my career I have worked predominantly in medium and low secure forensic services with males of a working age.

I discovered the Vona du Toit Model of Creative Ability (VdTMoCA) about 12 years ago and it was such an enlightening experience, I haven’t looked back. Since this time, I have embedded the model in to my clinical practice and the outcomes have been remarkable. It’s because of my positive experiences of using the model I want to share my skills and expertise with the wider OT community. ‘Theory to Life’ has been created to support and develop OT teams to learn how to apply the theory to practice, in essence bringing the theory to life.

My expertise

The VdTMoCA has been embedded within my clinical practice for the last 12 years and between 2015-2019 my place of work was awarded a Centre of Excellence from the VdTMoCA Foundation (UK), of which I am now the Lead Director.

Theory to Life provides practical, in-service face to face training packages which is not offered by the VdTMoCA Foundation (UK).
